• By accessing, browsing, searching, linking to, or otherwise using public FACEIO websites, documentation pages, help pages, policy pages, knowledge-center pages, and related website properties, you agree to these Website Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Website Terms, do not use the websites.
• These Website Terms govern website access and website content only. They do not govern the FACEIO facial authentication Service, fio.js, embedded widgets, REST APIs, webhooks, ID Match flows, paid plans, application-owner accounts, or end-user authentication flows.
• For FACEIO service usage, application-owner responsibilities, biometric notices, consent, EU data residency, API credentials, support, refunds, and service liability limits, use the Services Terms of Service. For public website data and cookies, use the Website & Cookie Policy.
• If you access PixLab websites, APIs, or services from a FACEIO website link, those properties may be governed by the PixLab Terms of Service ↗ and the applicable PixLab policies.

You may use the websites if you are legally able to enter into these Website Terms and are not prohibited from using the websites under applicable law. If you use the websites on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Website Terms.

We may update these Website Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. The Last Updated date shows when the current version was published. We may also change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any website, page, documentation area, feature, or website content at any time. Continued website use after an update means you accept the updated Website Terms.

• Website content: website text, documentation, code examples, guides, graphics, logos, screenshots, designs, page layouts, downloadable materials, and other materials made available through the websites are owned by FACEIO, PixLab | Symisc Systems, or their licensors.
• Limited website license: subject to these Website Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view website content for evaluation, integration planning, documentation review, and lawful business or developer use.
• Documentation use: you may use FACEIO documentation and code snippets internally to evaluate or integrate FACEIO, provided you keep proprietary notices intact and comply with the Services Terms of Service when using the actual Service.
• Reserved rights: no ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, mirror, scrape, frame, misrepresent, or commercially exploit website content except as expressly permitted by these Website Terms or by written permission from FACEIO.

• Use, display, mirror, frame, or republish the websites, FACEIO marks, product names, logos, screenshots, page layouts, or documentation in a misleading way or without permission.
• Access, tamper with, probe, scan, test, overload, disrupt, or attempt to bypass website systems, non-public areas, access controls, rate limits, security measures, CDN protections, or technical delivery systems.
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, or collect website content at scale except through ordinary search-engine indexing that respects robots directives and does not impair website availability.
• Submit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, deceptive, privacy-invasive, malicious, or otherwise objectionable content through website forms, search fields, community links, or support links.
• Use website forms or public links to collect, submit, or solicit personal data, biometric data, ID documents, or sensitive information about another person without proper authority and consent.
• Send spam, phishing, malware, credential-harvesting attempts, deceptive source-identifying information, automated abuse, or fraudulent requests.
• Use FACEIO website content to train, build, benchmark, or improve a competing product or dataset without written permission.
• Violate applicable law, third-party rights, or these Website Terms, or encourage another person to do so.

We may monitor website access and activity for security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, legal compliance, and enforcement of these Website Terms. We may investigate suspected violations, remove or disable access to content or website features, block requests, limit traffic, suspend access, preserve evidence, and cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities where appropriate.

The websites may link to the FACEIO Console, community forum, PixLab properties, GitHub repositories, social media pages, CDN-hosted resources, payment processors, support systems, or other third-party websites and tools. These links are provided for convenience. FACEIO does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, terms, policies, security, availability, products, or services. You use third-party resources at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

The websites, website content, documentation, examples, links, and related materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FACEIO, PixLab | Symisc Systems, and their suppliers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

Website documentation may change, may contain errors, and may not reflect every configuration or legal requirement for your use case. Website content is not legal, compliance, security, or professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating whether FACEIO, its documentation, and any implementation guidance are appropriate for your own application, users, jurisdiction, and risk model.

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, FACEIO, PixLab | Symisc Systems, and any party involved in creating, hosting, securing, or delivering the websites will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages; loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or website availability; security incidents outside our reasonable control; or the cost of substitute services.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, any aggregate liability arising from or related to these Website Terms or your use of the websites will not exceed the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid directly to FACEIO for website access during the twelve months before the claim. Public website access is normally provided without charge.
• These limits apply regardless of legal theory, whether contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, warranty, statute, or otherwise, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some limits may not apply to you.

These Website Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Tunisia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Before starting a formal dispute, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue informally for at least thirty (30) days after written notice. Notices to FACEIO should be sent to the contact channel listed below.

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes arising from these Website Terms or public website use may be brought in competent courts in Tunis, Tunisia. Nothing prevents either party from seeking temporary or permanent injunctive relief to protect confidential information, intellectual property, website security, or service integrity.
